Happy birthday Nik. This was the part where the bug raped the bunny.

Wow, the too many cats predicament. I am very familiar with that one. I have four cats right now. My youngest is a three year old named Isabelle. I found her and her sisters being sold for $5 a peice in a cold garage, so I bought them all, found them all homes, and kept Isabelle for myself. I also recently adopted a six year old Turkish Angora. Four cats is definately enough for me, but I am having an issue with one of Isabelle's sisters, Alice. I gave her to my husband's parents and now they have lost their house and can't keep her. I feel responsible, since I rescued her from the garage to begin with. I'm hoping another home comes along for her, but I hate the idea of not knowing where she is or how she's doing. She's not even fixed and I'd have to take her to the vet if I did take her in, and I'm not in the best financial shape for that.

If you own your own house and are in a position to adequately take care of six cats at once, I think you should do it. I think the limit should be to only get the amount of cats that you know you can properly care for. If you do take in the kittens make sure you keep them in a seperate room and gradually introduce them to your other cats. That's all the advice I have to offer. I hope it was good enough.

As for my Alice situation, I'm thinking she might do well at my parent's house, if only I can convince them.
